Eight apprentices from the Citizen Schools Wheatley Campus have worked hard over
the course of a 10-week apprenticeship to help produce the Roxbury Maps Over Time
collection. After choosing the “Mapping Roxbury” apprenticeship sponsored by Future
Boston, these middle school students began to learn how to use a new internet-based
mapping software system called Maps Over Time so that they could eventually
use it as a tool to teach others about the neighborhood they go to school in: Roxbury.
