Fenway 1950's
The Massachusetts Turnpike was commisioned in 1954, and the
highway was built less than a mile from Fenway's Green Monster
(the left field wall). The Red Sox won the American League pennant
in 1946, with the help of Ted Williams, arguably the Sox greatest player
of all time. This present day map from Mapblast shows the Turnpike
(Route 90) and the other streets and highways surrounding Fenway.
